Lifelong Enlightenment for All Program
A new pilot program that Elizabeth Academy will be launching in the fall of 2025 at the Garfield School campus. We are partnering with the University of Utah in their initiative to launch an Inclusive Postsecondary Educational (IPSE) program on their campus. For the next two years, Elizabeth Academy has committed to work in the development of this program with a select group of students with learning (LD) and
intellectual disabilities (ID).


Who We Serve
Students who are wanting a rich experience preparing for college and a career and benefit from learning in a social environment. We support those who have these and similar disabilities:
- ADHD
- Down syndrome
- Dyslexia
- High-functioning Autism (Level 1)

Community
We build meaningful relationships by creating consistent opportunities for personal connection and growth. Each day begins with morning movement to foster mindfulness and set a positive tone, followed by daily community meetings that encourage engagement and leadership:
-Large and small group study/discussions
-Student organized social events
-Collaborative learning opportunities
Life Prep
Our postsecondary program focuses on vocational exploration and life skills development tailored to each student’s needs and interests. Students engage in career exploration while honing essential skills through practical life experiences. These include:
-Planning and preparing a community lunch
-Field trips and community experiences
-Integrated therapies and specialized instruction to ensure personalized growth
-Taking responsibility for maintaining shared spaces


Academics
Our academic program is personalized to meet individual needs and interests. Specifically designed instruction combined with integrated therapy services (speech/language, music therapy) ensure targeted support, while dedicated Skills Blocks provide uninterrupted time to build academic abilities in:
-Language Arts: reading and writing fluency, and expression
-Math and Science: strengthening concepts and applying them to life skills
-Foreign Languages: Spanish and ASL
Enrichments
Our goal is to promote self-expression, confidence, and emotional well-being. Cross-curricular experiences allow students to apply practical skills in real-world contexts, reinforcing academic learning and supporting personal development in:
-Arts: Visual, Music, Dance, Theatre/Film
-Microeconomy and Farm-to-Table
-Field trips and community service opportunities

Admissions
You can apply to be part of the Elizabeth Academy Postsecondary program by submitting an application from our admissions page. You can find out more about the admissions process on our admissions page.
Tuition and Financial Assistance
For the 2025-2026 school year the following tuition and fees have been approved.
4 day- All Day Program
Monday through Thursday 8:30am-3:30pm
with at least 1 Friday a month scheduled for field experiences
$17,000 for the year
*Up to $600 in material fees may be added
Payment plans and Financial Assistance
Tuition may be paid in full year, half year, or monthly payments. Tuition assistance is available for qualifying students by applying through our FACTS system. You can submit a tuition assistance application at the same time as your application to the program.
