Submit Application
For enrollment consideration at Elizabeth Academy, please complete and submit your application. Applications will only be considered for the school year for which you apply. A new application must be submitted for subsequent school years if you are placed in the wait pool.
Currently only accepting application for the 2024-2025 school year. Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be available after January 14th, 2025.
The review process during Enrollment Season (January-May) may take 2-4 weeks.
Family Meeting & Placement Screening
For new students, during the Open Enrollment Window (between mid-January and mid-February), parents and students will be scheduled for a short interview with an administrator to ensure an understanding of school values and expectations. It is a time for us to get to know you and your family better and for you to get to know us, asking any questions you might have about our programs and coming to a mutual understanding and agreement about expectations.
After this meeting, the student will have a placement screening to assess their current level and needs to facilitate their placement in the optimal classroom environment. These screenings are held for all students to ensure growth and success.
The placement screening is $50- paid when you make the appointment
Developmental Screening
If necessary to fully evaluate your child’s need, a developmental screening will be coordinated (either scheduled at the same time of our family meeting and placement screening, or soon after the initial screening if a need appears).
The developmental testing measures a broad spectrum of possible needs (Speech and Language, Occupational therapy, Physical therapy, Social/Emotional, Dyslexia/Reading, or other Academic support) and is administered by qualified experts in these areas. There is an additional fee for developmental testing.
Enrollment Decision
Enrollment is based on the following criteria: age, readiness, previous records, program demands, needs of the child, behavior at school, and the commitment of the parent/guardian to Elizabeth Academy policies and procedures and to supporting your child’s academic and social needs as a collaborative partner. Our Admissions Director will contact you via email with an enrollment decision.
Enrollment Placement – If you receive an enrollment placement, you will have 14 days to accept by filling out all enrollment paperwork online via FACTS. As we often have wait pools for our programs, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you will be declining the placement.
Wait Pool- If we are unable to offer a placement, your student will be placed in our wait pool.
